A Dublin schoolboy was killed after a freak wind blew him off his bicycle into the path of a car, an inquest heard yesterday.

A Dublin schoolboy was killed after a freak wind blew him off his bicycle into the path of a car, an inquest heard yesterday.

Desmond Healy (17), of Shrewsbury Lawn, Cabinteely, died of multiple injuries after the collision on the main Dublin Bray dual carriageway on March 25th, 1992.

Dr Brian Farrell, the Dublin City Coroner, accepted a verdict of accidental death from the inquest jury.
