Four women are being questioned by gardai in connection with the murder of the journalist, Ms Veronica Guerin, last June.
The women are being held at Lucan Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can be detained for up to 48 hours. Two of them were arrested on Wednesday. Two others were arrested yesterday.
