Four men have been arrested following an incident in south Armagh in which shots were fired by the British army.

Four men have been arrested following an incident in south Armagh in which shots were fired by the British army.

The incident happened on Monday when several men were seen acting suspiciously beside a Cullyhanna farmhouse, according to the RUC.

Police said the security forces then fired shots, after which the men were arrested. Last night they were being questioned in Gough barracks, Armagh, about the incident.
