Also in the Co Derry, a man died in a crash between a car and a motorcycle on the Seacoast Road in Limavady at around midday.

Earlier in Co Down, a 17-year-old youth named this afternoon as Calum McComiskey, died when his car struck a tree at around 1.30 am on the Ballyvalley Road near Mayobridge.

There were other vehicles involved and no-one else was hurt.
