Four people were taken to hospital in Waterford this morning after a fire broke out in a shop in the city.
A Garda spokeswoman said the fire was "suspicious" and they were investigating the cause of it.
It was reported at 5.15 a.m. in the shop on O'Connell St. Fifteen people were evacuated from flats above the shop and four were taken to Waterford Regional Hospital.
