Four held after Dublin city centre assault

Three men and a woman have been arrested this afternoon following an assault on a man in Dublin's inner city.

Three men and a woman have been arrested this afternoon following an assault on a man in Dublin's inner city.

The man received stab wounds to his face during the attack which occurred in the Maryland area of the Coombe shortly before 3pm. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Following the assault, three men and a women were arressted in connection with the incident and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

A 22 year old man is currently being held at Kilmainham Garda Station, while two men (25 years & 28 years) and one woman (21) have been detained at Kevin St Garda Station.
