Four men were killed in road accidents in the North at the weekend.

Four men were killed in road accidents in the North at the weekend.

Two died, and eight others were injured, one of them critically, in a six car pile up in Co Armagh on Saturday.

The accident happened in dense freezing fog on the Armagh to Dungannon Road. The dead were named as Mr John Totten (73) and Mr George McComb (61) from Markethill.

Two other men were killed in separate accidents on Saturday. Mr Malcolm Cooper (46) died when his car overturned on the M1 near Dungannon.

Mr William Caldwell died when his car hit a grass verge in Cullybackey, Co Antrim.
