Edinburgh - The controversial former chief constable of Grampian Police, Dr Ian Oliver, yesterday accused the Scottish Secretary of flouting "natural justice".

Two days after he tendered his resignation, Dr Oliver said the whole issue was not whether he was a "good, bad or indifferent chief constable", but the way the process of removing him had been handled.
