A woman who worked as a nurse in Naas General Hospital has denied poisoning two patients.

A woman who worked as a nurse in Naas General Hospital has denied poisoning two patients.

Ms Noreen Mulholland (33)-from Ruanbeg Close, Kildare replied "not guilty" when charged this morning in Naas District Court.

Ms Mulholland, who is now living in Portadown, Co Armagh, is accused of administering a substance which would interfere with bodily function to a 77-year-old man who later died, and another male patient, who survived. She is also accused of causing the men serious harm.

She was remanded on bail to appear in court again on July 14th.
