A former drug addict whose evidence saw Dublin drugs baron Thomas Mullen jailed for 18 years was yesterday told by Judge Timothy King in Snaresbrook Crown Court, east London, she would need a new identity for her protection. Katherine Brooks was jailed for four years for her part in a huge Anglo-Irish drugs smuggling operation. Her co-defendant, Turkish national Turhan Mustafa, was jailed for 16 years.
