WASHINGTON - The body of the director of the CIA in the 1970s, Mr William Colby (76), was found washed up on the shore of a Potomac River tributary yesterday, nine days after he went missing while canoeing.

Sgt Tim Plumer at the Charles County sheriff's office, said. "At this point it doesn't appear to be any foul play, but officers are still investigating."
