The Minister for Agriculture, Mr Yates, has announced two new grants schemes which will promote the establishment and development of woodlands for public recreation.
National Tree Week begins tomorrow and will be inaugurated by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Mr Yates, in Blarney, Co Cork. The tree council will plant over 30,000 broadleaf trees during the week.
