Food for London-Irish homeless

A good Samaritan is going to London next week with five tonnes of food for homeless Irish people in that city

A good Samaritan is going to London next week with five tonnes of food for homeless Irish people in that city. Mr Seamus McGuire, director of the Youth in Need organisation in Thurles, is bringing the food to 120 homeless people in the Dalston area of London.

"Kilkenny Rotary Club presented us with four tonnes of food worth £5,500 and Erin Foods in Thurles have given us a tonne of food worth £1,000," said Mr McGuire.
