Some 25,000 people will take part in Limerick's annual Good Food Festival, according to the festival director, Mr Oliver Kehelly, of the Shannon Development Food Centre. It concludes on Saturday.

Each night, teams from Ireland and Britain compete in a banqueting event. Tomorrow, master chefs from six countries compete for the Grand Prix Mondial, when judges will decide who produces the finest meal with Irish salmon as a centrepiece.
