Food companies share award

Two food companies share this year's Teagasc/Irish Shows Association New Food Product Award. Greenacre Foods, from Kanturk, Co Cork, which specialises in frozen potato products, and Ocean Shells Ltd, Co Clare, which produces salmon chowder and lobster, and crab bisque, were joint winners of the award. It was presented by the Minister of State for Food, Mr Jimmy Deenihan, yesterday.
