Flood to chair Labour Court

A new chairperson has been appointed to the Labour Court. The appointment of Mr Finbarr Flood was announced by the Tanaiste, Ms Harney, yesterday. The new deputy chairperson is Ms Caroline Jenkinson, who will fill the vacancy arising from Mr Flood's appointment as chairperson. The Tanaiste expressed her appreciation of the work done in the court and in industrial relations generally by Ms Evelyn Owens, chairperson of the court since 1994.
