Five people, including three children, were rescued from their sailing boat four miles north of Rosslare Port on Sunday afternoon.
The boat, carrying two adults and three children, ran into difficulties following engine failure and immediately raised the alarm.
Rosslare Harbour Lifeboat went to the scene immediately, taking the five people on board and leaving the stricken boat to be manned by lifeboat crew.
