Five men arrested in Dublin yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the city have been released.

A Garda spokesman said the men were released without charge this morning and a file will be sent to the DPP.

The men, aged between 28 and 77, were arrested yesterday after gardaí carried out six searches in Dublin and Kildare.

They were detained under section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Dún Laoghaire, Blackrock and Dundrum Garda stations.
