Vienna - At least five people were killed in the village of Mauterndorf, about 100 km south of Salzburg, Austria, yesterday after a man ran amok with a pistol, police said.
The man shot dead a neighbour, his neighbour's wife and their four-year-old daughter. Two people who tried to intervene were also shot dead before he killed himself.
