Gardaí in Finglas are investigating an incident last night in which four men and a woman were hospitalised after being assaulted and robbed by three youths.

The attack happened at Barry Avenue at around 2.15 a.m. this morning.

The victims were brought to James Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Three men are still being treated for head injuries, which are not understood to be life-threatening.

The woman and another man have been released from the hospital.

There were no arrests, and gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Finglas Garda Station on 01-6667500 or on the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666111.
