Five men will appear in court today after an investigation into the supply of contraband goods in Dublin’s Mountjoy Prison.
The men are due in front of Dublin District Court to be charged in relation to the investigation by the Garda’s Organised Crime Unit.
The charges relate to the sale and supply of contraband to prisoners, a Garda spokesman said. He said no further details on the nature of the investigation were available.
