Five held after Limerick drugs seizure

Five people were arrested in Limerick yesterday after the discovery of cannabis valued at €180,000, it has emerged.

Five people were arrested in Limerick yesterday after the discovery of cannabis valued at €180,000, it has emerged.

The drugs were recovered in what gardaí said was a hidden fuel tank in a car stopped on the Ballysimon Road in the city at around 6pm. Gardaí arrested the five occupants of the car.

Four men aged between 25 and 35 and a woman aged 25 are being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station.
