A fishing boat detained by the Naval Service off the west coast, is being escorted into Galway.
The Shauna Annwas detained last night approximately 90 miles west of Galway Bay by the naval ship LE Eithneon suspicion of breach of fisheries regulations.
The vessel is being escorted to Galway to allow an inspection by officials from the Department of the Marine.
