LONDON - Humans, who have always prided themselves on having the biggest brains in the animal kingdom, have been beaten by a fish, scientists reported yesterday.

The brain of the elephant nose fish makes up 3.1 per cent of its body mass, according to Dr Goran Nilsson of Uppsala University in Sweden. A typical human brain makes up 2.3 per cent of body weight.
