PARIS - Pascale Roze won the Prix Goncourt, France's top literary award, yesterday for her first novel, Chasseur Zero (Zero Hunter).

The book is about a woman who investigates the death of her father at the hands of a Japanese kamikaze pilot. The prize for a work of fiction in French is given annually at a gourmet lunch in Paris.
