First female provost appointed

Leicester - The Church of England yesterday appointed its first female provost. The new Provost of Leicester Cathedral, the Rev Vivienne Faull (44), is currently Vice Provost and Canon Pastor of Coventry Cathedral and was previously chaplain of Gloucester Cathedral. She said: "I am delighted to be coming to Leicester Cathedral at a point where the cathedral appeal means that we can not only dream dreams but begin to make these dreams a reality in terms of the ministry in the city and the county."
