A 175-year-old Dublin printing company mentioned in James Joyce’s Ulysses has closed with the loss of more than 60 jobs.

A 175-year-old Dublin printing company mentioned in James Joyce’s Ulysses has closed with the loss of more than 60 jobs.

Workers at Wood Printcraft Ltd in Coolock were told yesterday the firm is being placed in receivership.

Staff said the vast majority have been let go immediately, while a skeleton staff will work until the end of the week to finish existing jobs.

Wood Printcraft was placed in examinership in 2010.
