Quills Woollen Mills, a tourist and fashion retailer, was summonsed before Killarney District Court yesterday for non-payment of rates of over €156,000 on its Killarney properties.

The summons on Padraig Quill, Quills Woollen Mills, High Street, Killarney was brought by Killarney Town council for €156,251 in respect of holdings at four locations, the court was told.

Solicitor for Quills, Padraig O’Connell, applied for an adjournment on the matter. Judge James O’Connor put the matter back to January 19th next.
