A guide to fire safety in nursing homes was issued yesterday by the Minister for the Environment, Mr Howlin.
The 55-page booklet makes recommendations on fire safety management in all nursing homes. It is aimed mainly at owners and managers, but also includes maintenance personnel, nursing staff, residents and visitors.
