Fire ravages Co Wexford Garda station

An investigation has begun into a fire that extensively damaged a  Co Wexford Garda station last night.

An investigation has begun into a fire that extensively damaged a  Co Wexford Garda station last night.

The fire broke out at the station at Carraigbyrne at around 11.00 p.m.

It was contained by two units of New Ross Fire Brigade at around 1.30 a.m.

There were no injuries.

A forensic examination was carried out today.

Gardai are investigating the possibility the fire was started deliberately.
