The Swords District Court offices, Fingal Arts Centre and Swords Museum suffered minor damage in a fire in the Carnegie Library late last night. The fire, which was noticed by Gardai about 11 p.m., was confined to a room used by the District Court but smoke and water damage was spread throughout the building. Three units of Dublin fire brigade quickly brought the blaze under control. A Garda spokesman said a full investigation would be carried out.
