Gardaí are investigating a fire at a business premises in Kildare town last night.
The blaze at the Heffernan’s Builders’ Providers caused “substantial damage”, according to a Garda spokesman.
The fire broke out at 6pm last night and took two hours to put out. Fire fighters from nearby Newbridge, Naas and Monasterevin attended the scene.
Nobody was injured during the fire.
