Three units of the fire brigade were fighting a fire last night at Rosemount House, a stud farm about a mile from New Ross, Co Wexford. The alarm was raised about 8 p.m. The house, described by a Garda officer as "a large, old country house", was extensively damaged. It is understood to have been unoccupied.
