The Audiovisual Federation of IBEC, the employers' lobby, said it welcomed the general improvement in PAYE and PRSI rates announced by Mr Quinn, stressing that film-making is a labour-intensive industry.
But the group criticised the Government for not extending the Business Expansion Scheme to cover film development. It said the Government should do more to encourage investment in film-making.
