The following is the full text of tonight's statement from Fianna Fáil on the Cooper-Flynn case
At the next meeting of the Fianna Fáil Parliamentary Party on Tuesday 4th May the party leader, Mr. Bertie Ahern T.D. will propose a motion that the whip be removed from Deputy Beverly Flynn T.D.
A special meeting of the Fianna Fáil Ard Comhairle will be convened at the end of next week to decide on a motion to expel Deputy Flynn from the Fianna Fáil organisation.
