Former TD, Ms Monica Barnes, and Minister for Defence and Marine, Mr Sean Barrett, have been selected by Fine Gael to contest the Dun Laoghaire constituency in the forthcoming general election.
Speaking following her selection, Ms Barnes, who was the first woman vice president of Fine Gael, said the re election of the coalition government would represent "the best opportunity for greater social inclusion".
