Fianna Fail has tabled a Dail motion calling on the Government to extend the deadline for victims' compensation claims to the Hepatitis C tribunal.
The party's health spokeswoman, Mrs Ma ire GeogheganQuinn, said yesterday that victims cannot be expected to apply to the tribunal until the High Court rules on the first compensation case to come before it next October.
