A dance music festival scheduled for Punchestown Racecourse in Co Kildare this weekend may go ahead, the High Court has ruled. More than 17,000 people have bought tickets for the event. Mr Justice Herbert yesterday dismissed an application by Co Meath Labour Party councillor Mr Tommy Grimes, who lives in Kells, for an injunction preventing the festival. Mr Grimes argued that the festival constituted a change of use of the racecourse, for which planning permission was required.
