London - Experts last night voiced concerns about the safety of blood products used to treat haemophiliacs amid fears over possible contamination with new variant CJD. The Haemophilia Centre Directors' Organisation called for patients to be treated either with blood products from foreign donors, or artificial products, to ensure they were not exposed to nvCJD. The move was endorsed by the Haemophilia Society.
