Fault delays early trains

A number of early morning rail services were delayed yesterday because of a fault in a computer signalling system

A number of early morning rail services were delayed yesterday because of a fault in a computer signalling system. The delays occurred on the Dublin Cork and GalwayDublin services. The Arrow Commuter Service, which runs between Dublin and Kildare, was also disrupted.

The 5.30 a.m. Galway Dublin service was delayed by 65 minutes. Passengers travelling on the 7.20 a.m. Dublin Galway train were also delayed. The 7.30 a.m. Dublin Cork service was delayed by 50 minutes.
