A 38-year-old father of two was killed yesterday when he was knocked down by a car on the Cabinteely by-pass.
The accident happened at the Enniskerry turn-off at around 6 p.m. The man, who is from Bray but has not been named, was taken to St Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
