RIYADH - The families of two British nurses facing the death penalty for the suspected murder of an Australian colleague, Yvonne Gilford, are to visit them in a Saudi jail in the next few days, a British diplomat said yesterday.

The families of Ms Deborah Parry (41), of Hampshire, and Ms Lucille McLauchlan (31), of Dundee, will meet them in Dammam prison, the diplomat said. The visit comes after the brother of the victim said he would not grant mercy to save the two Britons if they were convicted.
