Beijing - Relatives of the illegal Chinese immigrants who died being smuggled into Britain appealed yesterday to the British government to allow them to visit and take one last look at the bodies of their loved ones.

A group of 21 families, upset after being denied access to British detectives who visited China as part of their investigations into the tragedy, faxed a petition to London, relatives said.
