The founder of Families Against Intimidation and Terror (FAIT), Mrs Nancy Gracey, has resigned from the group after losing a confidence vote in Belfast last night. She walked out of last night's meeting, accompanied by two other members, saying she intended forming another organisation.

Her resignation follows weeks of bitter wrangling in the organisation, in a controversy over expenses she incurred during a recent visit to the US.
