KABUL - Mr Gulbuddin Hekmatyar defied a rocket assault by the Taliban Islamic militia yesterday to enter Kabul to take up the Afghan prime minister's position.
The head of the Hezb-i-Islami group drove into Kabul at the head of a 100 vehicle convoy, hours after two fierce rocket assaults on the city that left at least 37 dead.
