While walking along the river Dodder from Ballsbridge to Lansdowne Road I saw a fox cub walking along the opposite bank

While walking along the river Dodder from Ballsbridge to Lansdowne Road I saw a fox cub walking along the opposite bank. Are foxes becoming more creatures of the daytime? I live in Tipperary and recently have seen foxes several times in daylight.

Foxes will move about in daytime in unfrequented places. They learn very quickly when and where danger lies.
