A petition calling for the extension of the light rail system to Sandyford has been presented to the Minister for Transport, Mr Lowry.
A spokesperson for Sandyford Extension Action Group, which organised the petition, signed by about 5,000 people, said the extension would service a much larger ,catchment area than currently planned.
