An explosive device was made safe in Dublin today.

An explosive device was made safe in Dublin today.

An Army bomb disposal team arrived at Kings Inns Street, Phibsborough, at 5.20pm after a request from gardaí. The area was cordoned off, and local residents were evacuated.

The viable device, found close to a private residence, was dealt with, and the scene was declared safe at 6.40pm.
