LONDON - The former head of the British prison service, Mr Derek Lewis, yesterday claimed victory in his battle to prove that the Home Secretary, Mr Michael Howard, was wrong to dismiss him. At a private meeting at the High Court yesterday Home Office solicitors submitted to judgment in favour of Mr Lewis.
