PERTH - The trial of a former Western Australian premier, Mr Brian Burke, who is charged with stealing funds from the Australian Labor Party ended yesterday but the judge will not hand down his findings until next Friday.
Mr Burke, a former ambassador to Ireland, is charged with stealing up to A$122,000 in campaign donations between 1984 and 1988 while he was premier.
